Welcome
Isability was founded in 2007 by Jackie Gray and Natalie Zeindler-Way, two professionals with wide ranging experience in nurseries, primary schools, nursing and midwifery, as well as being dedicated mum's as well. Jackie and Nat share many passions, both personally and professionally, but since setting up Isability, perhaps none more obvious than their determination to help children with motor control issues fulfil their potential in every way.
Having found a serious lack of resources available to help children develop their fine and gross motor skills they created the Isability Programme to address this need. Working alongside senior occupational therapists they developed Isability's Motor Skills Programme to enhance children’s ability in this field.
Their aim is to offer an appropriate learning tool to help children reach their full potential, whether the child is challenged or simply to enhance existing skills and to see motor skills activities become part of everyday life in nurseries and schools across the country.
We hope that you find the Isability site helpful and that you will see how the programme can bring real benefit to those so often lost under the radar of main stream teaching.
